​The Chicano Creative Society was founded by David Feria in 2019,

Bringing in proud Chicano artists, the native sons of Los Angeles, and all ethnic backgrounds that share the passion for filmmaking  are overdue for a creative renaissance. It is our time to participate in the magic taking place in our own backyards by helping birth a new era of art and expression, and we want to help platform those who are our friends, family and neighbors to help us do so. We want to share each other’s gifts with the world and foster cultural exchange that invites us all into each other's homes, hearts and lives. We ultimately want to facilitate art, inspired by human experience and all of its complexities, and sublimated in a way that engenders empathy and communication; something experiential and universal that aspires to make humanity feel cohesive again. We’re here for our peoples and the cultivation of their various forms of artistic expression, but we of course also stand strong with any/all peoples with the intent to create. We’re building an artistic community, one rooted near the parts of Los Angeles that are famished for it, and we hope you’ll be along for the adventure, everyone welcome!
